Peter Yi

Peter joined Icon Ventures in 2014 as a Principal, bringing over a decade of experience in venture capital transactions and investment operations, and is passionate about diving into new investment opportunities. As a seasoned veteran of venture capital firm operations. Peter brings a strategic, data-driven approach to identifying and processing investment opportunities. He is a valuable resource for our portfolio companies, limited partners and firm operations.Peter’s venture capital career began with Worldview Technology Partners in 2001 where he held roles as the director of investment operations and more recently as a senior associate. He was responsible for the execution of Worldview’s global investment activities for over 50 portfolio companies. The range of responsibilities that Peter covered at Worldview included due diligence, deal analysis and structuring, financial modeling, market and technology research, and legal analysis. He also provided support for limited partner relations across four funds totaling $1.6B. In addition, Peter worked closely with two start-ups, theHunt (Pinterest) and Table8, from their inception to venture capital funding. Peter has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley where he graduated summa cum laude.
