In August 2022 I start a new position with Forest Research to become the GIS service delivery manager. My team and I are underpinning the support and changes to the ForesterWeb GIS service on behalf of our customers. After several years out 'in the field' as a beat forester, planning forester, restocking manager, forest design planner, spatial analyst and programme manager, I took on the role of business lead on the development of two corporate ICT packages that underpin the planning and sale of timber in NRW, delivering on site objectives. Continuing the project approach I hope to marry my forestry experience to benefit our customers with efficient IT solutions.
