Petrika Gjanci

Petrika Gjanci is Senior R&D Engineer at WSense s.r.l where he has designed innovative systems of underwater acoustic networks (dealing with topics ranging from network protocols to security to synchronization and localization) and has contributed to the design of underwater acoustic modems. Previously he has worked as a Postdoc researcher at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”. Petrika Gjanci holds a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Rome La Sapienza, enrolled in the Excellence University Program, and a PhD in Computer Science from the same University. He has extensive experience in the design and optimization of undersea networks, having participated in dozens of experimental campaigns and published over a dozen research articles in Journals and Conferences of great impact in the sector.
