My work experience and career progression through the media, led me to run the Literary Agency, Goodwin Associates from 1977-1989, representing such talent as Fay Weldon, Jon Gaunt and Terry Johnson. It proved that I can demonstrate a determination to succeed and an ability to make important decisions under pressure. I am meticulous to detail, gaol-oriented and self-motivated. In 1989 I took a study sabbatical; and having studied the image in consumer society, looking at a range of representations and critiques of consumer society and consumption, I brought my work experience and key skills to the market as a Mystery Shopper. In the present climate of High Street competition, customer satisfaction is an invaluable and powerful weapon in the fight to increase turnover and profitability. I am a good and astute evaluator, have experience, judgement, reliability and empathy, and am interested to explore all ‘ad hoc’ opportunities.
