Phil Latvis

Phil Latvis serves as Director of Agency Recruitment for Renaissance Alliance, the premier alliance for independent property casualty agencies. As a former agency owner, agency principal, producer and sales leader, Phil is uniquely able to have in depth conversations about the operational, financial and personal considerations and concerns that agency principals face as they consider the strategic direction of their agency. Phil’s client first approach has helped him become a trusted advisor in each position he has held. Prior to joining Renaissance Alliance, Phil was a Senior Risk Management Consultant with The Richards Group where he worked with mid-market commercial accounts to lower their cost of risk through appropriate risk identification, transfer, and mitigation strategies while securing insurance cover with favorable terms and pricing. Prior to joining The Richards Group via acquisition, Phil was the President of Centurion Insurance Group, an independent insurance agency subsidiary of Mascoma Bank where he led the development of the Bank’s insurance subsidiary from start up to more than $2M in revenue. Previously, Phil served in a variety of sales and sales leadership roles with Nationwide Insurance. During this time, Phil recruited, trained and developed insurance agency principals and producers. He was recognized with numerous Sales Management awards and had the opportunity of working with several of the top producing agencies within the entire Nationwide exclusive agency system. Phil holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Bentley University. He is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), a Certified Risk Manger (CRM), and a licensed property & casualty, life & health and variable products producer. Phil and his wife Tammy live on Mascoma Lake in Enfield, NH. They have three grown children who inspire him with their passion for life, family and the positive things they accomplish in their lives and careers. He enjoys hiking, paddleboarding, boating, traveling, reading and spending time with family and friends at both Squam Lake and Mascoma Lake.
