-Started my career in the moving business as a packer, shorthaul driver, warehouse manager, dispatcher for Allied agent while attending Northeastern University majoring in Business Administration -After college, became officer in U.S.Army Reserve and after 15 years, retired as Major, U.S. Army, Transportation Corps and Civil Affairs -During and after military, had several positions in the moving industry including Freight Forwarder of household goods selling to movers throughout the USA -General Manager of a midwest moving & storage company with 25 employees with union crews -Regional International Sales Development Manager for major van line responsible for training, sales and operational liason 200 agents in 20 states -International household goods and exhibit transportation sales achiever for several van lines winning several national awards -Graduated from Dale Carnegie Sales Course for Managers -Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) though Worldwide ERC -Sales Manager of multimillion dollar moving & storage agent in GA -RIM Certified (Registered International Mover) -Jumped at the opportunity to buy a boutique international freight forwarder in Asheville, NC, make it my own and do it right focusing on the customer first.
