Started my working life as a Fitter, Machinist and Toolmaker primarily associated with the manufacture, service and repair of high quality and highly specialised Pipe and Plumbing Tools at the renowned Torque Leader Tools in Melbourne. Torque Leader Tools was a specialist pipe and plumbing tool manufacturer and was the first authorised service, sales, warranty and repair centre for the Ridge Tool Company here in Australia. Under the tutelage and guidance of one of the best Mechanical Engineers the pipetool industry in Melbourne has known, Mr Bob Rigby provided me with the highly skilled and specialised level of training and experience which has enabled me to gain an extremely high level of specialised knowledge and technical understanding of Pipe and Plumbing Machine Tools. This hands on experience coupled with a Tertiary education in Mechanical Engineering has provided me with a unique skill set that I have used throughout my career with Reece, Rothenberger, Ridge Tool and still call on everyday in my role at LDV Building Services.
