About
I have completed a BA (Hons) Accountancy and Finance degree with the objective now to complete the remaining five ACCA professional papers and progress my career with a company willing to train for both mine and their long-term future benefit. I have worked for an accountancy practice both in client payroll looking after 2800 clients and later promoted to accountant looking after a portfolio of 60 clients. Looking after the client from recent incorporation to processing accounts, VAT returns and corporation tax, and later the closure of companies. I have undertaken projects including a project with Boox to help them grow and help students gain experience (see projects). I decided to leave practice in 2018 to build experience in industry, working temporary assignments with internal accounts and finance departments of both international and domestic companies. I have gained experience of different software packages from Oracle, SAP, Xero and Sage to a variety of Microsoft packages Dynamic AX, Nav, KX and 365. Utilising these systems for sales ledger, purchase ledger and general ledger to credit control and month end duties. In addition, I have helped these companies by producing process manuals and innovative ideas to help a company grow.
