I'm excited to commence my new role with The Landscapes and Livelihoods Group (TLLG) where I will oversee the implementation of a growing portfolio of CCB, Plan Vivo and VCS social forestry projects in Indonesia. My career focus is to creatively contribute towards achieving the triple wins of critical climate action, improving peoples' lives and sustaining our planet. I have 18 years of experience working on climate positive sustainable forest landscapes and hold a PhD in Tropical Forest Ecology and an MSc in Forestry. Prior to this new role with TLLG, I was a Principle Consultant at LTS-NIRAS for 14 years, working on forest landscapes and climate change issues. I have primarily advised public sector clients on sustainable forest resources development, measurement and monitoring, particularly with respect to climate finance and the green economy. My areas of technical expertise include international and national forest climate policy, national forest-related climate change processes, enabling activities and programme implementation, forest and land use measurement, monitoring and REDD+ MRV, sustainable forest-related enterprises and forest positive supply chains. I have extensive experience of theory based and real-time evaluation and programme cycle monitoring of donor facilities and initiatives. My consultancy assignments have tackled forest climate and local development issues at a global level and in Africa (Cameroon, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Zambia), Southeast Asia (Indonesia and Malaysia), Central and South America (Colombia, Costa Rica and Guyana) for a range of donors, including the UK FCDO, GIZ, Norad, DANIDA, the World Bank, the African Development Bank and several NGO clients. I have strong experience in the direction, co-ordination and management of complex programmes, including large and diverse multi-country teams of experts. I have five years of experience in Programme Director / Contract Director and technical and management oversight roles.
