Phillip B. Punter

I am a postgraduate student at the University of Edinburgh fascinated by using a multidisciplinary approach to understand past, present and future global change. I graduated with First Class Honors in the top 10% of my year at the University of Bristol following my year abroad at the University of Washington. I have been fascinated by coral reefs from an early age and have experience conducting research on them from an expedition to Mexico with Operation Wallacea. This fascination led me to pursue voluntary research at the University of Edinburgh working to access information stored within coral skeletons. In November 2019, I converted this research a MScR where it provides the foundation for the PhD projects that I have applied to whilst allowing me to hone the skills required to complete it.
