Phumlane Miker Khumalo

I am Phumlane Miker Khumalo one of the APMG-UK Graduates in Project Management for Development Pro1. The APMG-UK is the United Kingdom arm of APMG-International but based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, and provides high-quality accreditation and qualification services to organization United Kingdom. I am also one of the Coady International Institutes Graduates for Assets for Citizen Driven Development (ABCD) and Livelihood and Market Class in the year 2011. In the ABCD I learned theory, principles and tools behind asset-based community approach and strategies for bridging citizen-led initiatives to scale through multi-stakeholders platform. Whereas in the Livelihood and Market program I learned hands on tools to conduct market research and analyses, sub-sector and value chain analysis to identify bottlenecks and specific opportunities available for smallholder producers, and use value-chain framework to guide interventions. The Coady International Institute is based in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada and is part of the St. Francis Xavier University (StFX). The Institutes was created in 1959, Coady is a centre of excellent in community-based development dedicated to the professional education of development leaders. Coady offers a range of courses in international development, ranging from 19 weeks Diploma in Development Leadership to short specialized certificates courses. I have also attended and completed Leadership Development course at Leadership Solutions from year 2011, March until 2012, June.
