Pien Wensing

I am a versatile, adaptable rights professional with a background in creative writing and extensive experience in publishing. I have excellent language, computer, organisation and sales skills, which have been developed and enhanced through working for Quarto Publishing and newbooks magazine. I have nearly seven years’ experience working in co-edition sales, actively seeking out new customers and reprint opportunities. I have outstanding inter-personal communication and social skills built through a succession of customer-focused roles. In Quarto’s busy sales team I have proven to be calm, reliable, self-motivated, organised and capable of working under pressure. I show pride in all the work I do and have a clear, logical mind with a practical approach to problem solving. I started work on a PhD in Writing for Children in 2012 which I am currently taking a break from. My aim for the near future is to have my first novel published.
