Piotr Gawle

My technical skills include HTML5, CSS3, Javascript. I have worked on big projects like Nokia Maps (now Here.com) and various games in Bushido Games. Since 2010 I have created and delivered multiple cross browser and cross device games. I also have experience in backend development (php, java, node.js, sql, mysql) and have good understanding of full stack development. Multiple times I was a team leader and scrum master. In 2010 I created Bushido Games where I am a co-founder and CEO. Since then I have actively managed people and was project manager for our games. We are "remote company" and at the beginning it was really challenging to have people work without office. We needed to innovate (back then there was almost no information on this topic) and push ourselves. Effort was worth it. We implemented Scrum methodology and back then had team of 8 people happy, creative, proactive working with us. Since 2014 we joined the Toptal as a Bushido Games. From that time I have worked projects as a developer, D3.js specialist, Scrum Master, Team Leader and Frontend Manager. I believe in knowledge sharing. I am a co-author of article in Software Developer's Journal 1/2009 (159) about Freemarker and author of article in Software Developer's Journal 3/2008 (159) about jQuery. I also participated in conference onGameStart 2013 with lecture (http://vimeo.com/79727591) I had lectures about testing of front-end layer on devmeetings.pl platform.
