Faster, Stronger and Lighter! The Olympics symbols are something that I, myself have always endeavoured for. Right from the time, I started my schooling in Hong Kong and Singapore, down to Bangalore and New Delhi, completed my BA in New Delhi, worked for three years as an international correspondent at ANI news agency, and currently pursuing my MA from Ambedkar University Delhi. These are the thoughts that my parents have constantly tried to build and drive inside me. I aspire to be a energetic, dynamic and a sterling leader in any opportunity that will pass through. Hi! I am Prateek Chakraborty, a resident of New Delhi. I am an avid lover of information related to any topic, ranging from technology, world and history. I also possess a collection of stamps and currency of other countries, as my father, who is also a journalist has travelled extensively and along with him, when I was young. I am a hardworking, diligent, friendly, helpful, caring and an enthusiastic person. My father, Pradeep Chakraborty, considered to be my role model, was working in Southeast Asia, when I was born in New Delhi on a cold evening of December 14, 1995. He helped me to develop an interest in computers, games and sports during my infancy. While, I was growing up, I also developed interest in general knowledge and current affairs. I am a proud holder of 'Green Belt' in Karate, representing Karnataka (2007-2012). I have stayed in Singapore and Hong Kong for seven years, nine years in Bangalore, before returning to my hometown New Delhi in 2012. Due to the early interest in general knowledge and current affairs, I participated and won plenty of co-curricular activities in my school and college times. Here, I must describe my father who motivated me to study journalism. I feel proud to announce to the world that my father’s electronics, components, telecommunications and semiconductors blogs have won 16 global awards for the last 16 years in a row! I would like to follow the illustrious footsteps of my father! :)
