Cybersecurity is in my DNA (I still far prefer "InfoSec" and can't stand the word "cyber" if that says anything). It is a passion and a way of life. I also love leadership, supporting clients, consulting, and business in general. It is a never-ending quest for knowledge and expertise across security, business, and sales to support my clients and my teams. My career began in security recruiting, and after some time of success in that space I founded my own third-party recruiting agency specializing in cybersecurity hires. Typically technical hires such as security engineers or penetration testers, but also other roles surrounding GRC or even security sales type roles. I eventually sold my business and moved on to Coalfire to focus more intently on working within a security organization and solving complex challenges our clients were facing. Areas of security knowledge include: • Penetration testing and vulnerability management • Security tooling (SIEM, IDS/IPS, WAF, MFA, etc.) • Risk management and governance • Compliance and industry frameworks including NIST variants, FISMA and FedRAMP, PCI DSS, HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, and ISO 27001 • Cloud security I operate with integrity, urgency, extreme ownership, and a dedication to always improving.
