Priscilla Parodi

My experience and studies in Information Technology started as a child with my first certificate in the field. Since then I have never stopped learning! During my career I was able to collaborate with different areas and teams, from IT engineering and project management to developer relations. I had the opportunity to work with large customers, universities and startups and because of the results, I was recognized and received several regional and global awards. Today I am the voice of Elastic for the Americas, interacting with our users, understanding their needs and planning and managing content and programs that generate a better experience and increase user engagement. Here are some highlights of my career: - I won the IBM Managers Choice Award (5x), recognition of managers to their best employees in terms of contribution to the area. - I won the IBM Blue Thanks Award: (2x) Personal Interest, (2x) Put Client First, (2x) Share Expertise. - I won the IBM Service Excellence Award, a global recognition of the WW leadership. - I was approved to be a member of the IBM Technology Leadership Council, a worldwide community of IBM technical leaders. - I was part of a group of 7 IBM top experts invited by IBM International Foundation at the request of the government, to develop the philanthropic project IBM Smarter Cities Challenge in Greece. - I graduated from IBM Global Sales School, developing the skills needed to grow revenue by delivering differentiated client experiences. - I created a Youtube channel with cloud and artificial intelligence tutorials, my videos were watched by more than 75,000 people. - I am co-author of the Book Agile and Digital Journey. Profits are 100% donated to non-profit institutions. - I was invited to speak at several events with different audiences, from students at renowned universities, e.g., Insper, USP, FATEC, UFRJ, FIAP, Mackenzie, Ufscar, PUC, AUTh (GRC), to executives of large companies, e.g., Google, BRF, Algar, Fiocruz, Rede Globo, CPQD, Deloitte, Claro, Samsung, Dell, and to be a mentor for several startups in accelerator programs and incubators. - I was recognized and awarded for my performance and contribution to Elastic's results and I won the Elastic Marketing Recognition and the Elastic "Out of the Box" award. - I idealized and implemented the first Elastic Community Recognition Program (Elastic Contributor Program), this significantly increased the number of community members, content production and local engagement and resulted in the global expansion of the program.
