Prishana Daniel

I am a female who is passionate about supply chain and planning, carving out a niche’ for myself in an environment that is thought to be male dominant. My experience in the supply chain industry specifically from warehousing to logistics, through to purchasing is extensive having had the opportunity and pleasure to work for one of the largest chemical fertilizer companies in South Africa. My time at Kynoch Fertilizer has given me first hand exposure to production planning, bulk blending of chemical fertilizer, warehousing and logistics. Under the tutelage of a vastly experienced and dynamic manager I was exposed to the various challenges that one can face in the day to day operations and most importantly how to overcome those challenges and pave a way for future development. During my time at one of the leading security and electronics manufacturing and distribution companies in the country, IDS (Inhep Electronics Holdings) I gained invaluable experience in warehousing and production. Having been exposed to production and assembly lines, supply and demand to meet customer expectations as well as the constraints experienced when working in an environment with sensitive product, my mind was able to absorb and adapt to the two very different yet holistic manners in which supply chain comes to life. My current role as a SAP Systems Administrator has taught me how the correct foundational principles of SAP can add to, and help the business attain correct practices, and objectives. I thoroughly enjoy working on SAP and have advanced experience on SAP R3; SAP K and intermediate experience on SAP Business One. My other area of expertise is working with the Microsoft Office programs; of which I am at an advanced level. I desire the opportunity to interact with individuals from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds as well as apply my mind and focus on the enhancement of already established practices with the industry.
