I am passionate about leading people, building high-performing teams, and sustaining strong organizational performance through developing leaders and employees at all levels. I continue to build on a long career of serving as an ambassador and champion of leadership development programs. Moreover, I have built leadership programs at both the local and national levels to ensure my organization is positioned to develop a strong cadre of leaders.Throughout my career I never been shy to face challenges in an ever-changing complex, volatile environment. I led transformation initiatives built around the integration of People, Process and Technology changes that were instrumental in leading an overarching transformation from an anachronistic paper-based claims processing model to a digital, paperless system. This untethered VA employees from paper files and positioned our organization to withstand future impacts from a worldwide pandemic.Effective leadership demands engagement on many levels. As a leader I have embraced opportunities to engage and learn from internal and external stakeholders, from front-line employees, labor partners, veterans service organizations, and community partners. I am responsive to those whom I serve. By championing data analytics and visualization (Tableau) and rigorous performance management, I continue to drive improvements in production, quality, and overall customer service to deliver on the sacred mission to serve our Nation’s Veterans.
