Roles and responsibilities: Accounts Receivable function: McKinsey and Company Apr 2020 – Present Senior Work-in-progress (WIP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Analyst 1)Understanding client contract in respect of financial arrangement like Fixed fee, alternative fee arrangement etc. And informing project teams on timely manner when invoice is due 2) Coordinating with client finance team to obtain invoicing related information like tax documents etc. 3) Preparing customer/client profiles on Zoho software by filling in client information like Client Entity name, tax related information like GST number, TAN number etc. 4) Creating invoices on Zoho software and pushed the same for IRN generation on Government portal 5) Sending invoices to client on timely manner and accounting of same in Oracle 6) Handling client finance team queries 7) Constant follow-up for collection of outstanding invoices 8) Identifying and escalating accounts receivable which are getting delayed and creates appropriate reserves for Financial Statements 9) Coordinating with statutory auditors for revenue audit by providing invoice copies, contract copies and handling queries related to them Work in progress function/ Project management: 1) End to end service project management by initiating the code creation in system, collating relevant documents like signed contracts, client confirmations etc. 2) Creating budgets for each project based on planned consultant time and expenses as per standard company policy 3) Coordinating with Staffing teams on the exact dates of staffing of consultants on a particular project o Analyzing WIP/Project on monthly basis for the actual time/expense charged vs budgeted and updating project teams for the action needed like Unbilled WIP, Collection pending, Over-run etc. 4) In case of over-run, identifying the reasons of over-run and discuss with project teams on the possible solutions to mitigate losses 5) Applying investments/discounts approved by office investment committee to particular project and continuously monitoring of the same till end of project 6) Accounting of value adjustments (loss/profit) at the close of the project Others: 1) Preparing revenue reports for partners for year-end evaluations 2) Analyzing client utilization % for partners and coordinating with them for their planned projects 3) Monthly reconciliation of investments/discounts approved by investment committee with the actual investment applied on projects 4) Performing certain month end closure activities
