Prof. Procyon Mukherjee

Procyon Mukherjee has worked in senior leadership positions in India and in Europe in various capacities in Manufacturing, including Merger & Acquisition, Procurement, Logistics, Strategic Management, Supply Chain Management and Project Management. He has worked in Philips India, Indian Aluminium Company, Hindalco and Novelis and headed India Procurement Organization at LafargeHolcim India spanning 35 plants in India (ACC & Ambuja Cement) with a Spend base of $3 Billion till June 2020. He led the Performance Management Group that works across ACC & Ambuja to steer excellence in Cost & Efficiency in the entire Value Chain of Power, Manufacturing, Logistics & Supply Chain. He served in the Management Executive Committee of both ACC & Ambuja Cement. Procyon has been an expert in Aluminum Downstream Operations having been trained in Alcan Rolling Program and later serving in the Rolled products business of Hindalco and Novelis for about two decades. Procyon has overseen the entire breadth of Supply Chain Management function from Infrastructure building & Project Management, Operations, Inbound and Outbound Logistics, to Procurement and Manufacturing Excellence in India and across industry segments.
