Puneet Gupta

Puneet is a driven and high achieving professional. Excelling in the hydrogen, oil & gas and mining services industries with over ten years of experience, Currently, Puneet works as a Client Manager for Siemens Energy. At Siemens Energy, Puneet is focusing on delivering great business and technical solutions for operators of turbo machinery. The variety of machinery include Gas turbines, Industrial steam turbines, Compressors (axial, centrifugal) and Gearboxes. Previously, as a Reliability and Rotating Equipment Engineer with Viva Energy (formerly with Royal Dutch Shell), Puneet led a major RCCU turnaround to deliver complete overhauls of a number of rotating equipment. During his tenure at the Geelong refinery, Puneet focused on increasing equipment utilisation, and reducing unplanned downtime at the Geelong Refinery. Puneet was also responsible for troubleshooting and improvement of performance of all the rotating equipment in a number of units on site. Puneet has strong problem solving, process improvement, and people and contract management skills. These have strengthened through being the responsible plant maintenance engineer for an ammonia plant and a project manager for EPCM projects in water management for clients which included local city councils and mining companies. From The University of Melbourne, Puneet successfully completed a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical - Honours).
