Quinton Smith

I’ve been working with Atlantic Testing in the HVAC industry for the last three years in a Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) role. I passed the NEBB TAB CT exam in 2018 to receive my certification in TAB. Since then, I have continued to learn and grow as I continued to work in the field. I have been working in the Commissioning (Cx) Department of my company for the past year to learn the ins and outs of that side of our business, with a goal of also becoming a NEBB Certified Cx Technician. In September of 2019 I was appointed as the NEBB Young Professional’s Network chapter liaison for the Cap-MarVa chapter. This year I have been certified as a Level II thermographer, giving me a better understanding of thermal imaging and it’s applications. I have an interest in learning new things in regards to mechanical engineering, and often find myself fascinated with exceptionally clever designs that help to reduce energy consumption. In my personal life, I like to learn about historical events and different cultures, and am studying German in hopes to achieve fluency.
