Since the day I had graduated from university my attention was to support martializing groups (women and girls) to get civil rights and amplify their voices. I had been voluntary working in the court of justice to support women and girls from poor families, who otherwise may not have access to justice. I had been helping them get their rightful legal aid assistance free of charge. Once I shifted to the humanitarian world, I have been closely supporting, coaching, and motivating girls and women to get access to education by supporting Non-Formal Education (NFE), Technical Vocational Education Training (TVET) and Village Saving Loan Associate (VSLA) programs specifically tailored to respond to the needs of women and girls. Through the girl’s empowerment forums, I have supported young girls in schools to unify their voices and demand their rights from the school management which has enabled them to inspire other young girls in their communities. I have done master’s in project planning and Management from Hargeisa of University. I had done my bachelor’s degree in Law. Since the day I had graduated from University, I had been worked in different organizations including NGOs and INGOs. With CARE, I have always been in contact with project participants particularly women and girls and I had mentored them to establish their own vision and goals.
