I thrive in a team environment. I take pride in building up the people around me, whether that is my students struggling in a particular area or my colleagues seeking professional judgment or feedback. It gives me joy to watch my students excel in their learning and ensure that they feel they have succeeded to feedback, merits and engaging with parents and carers. To ensure students are on a successful trajectory collecting and interpreting data to know my students and track their progress I have found to be important and irreplaceable. Teaching in Illawarra schools casually and contracted. Currently my position requires a high level of flexability and conitnous engagement with the beginning teacher community in the Illawarra, the parents and carrers of Warilla High School to build high expectations within my classroom and year groups as 2ITC Year Advisor. I have built programs that have led to highly success in Digital Media in Stage 4 & 5. Worked closely with the school to upgrade facilities and technology for the Visual Arts and PDM speciality. I am particularly proud of my time at Wollongong Performing Arts and the outstanding level of achievement met in the Visual Arts department. I am equally as proud of the achievements of my classes whilst on contract at Oak Flats High School and the level of behavior management achieved producing high levels of assessment and class work that was beyond expectation for those students.
