Rachel Cossick

I have recently graduated with my bachelor's degree from the Ohio State University Fisher College of Business with a specialization in Logistics Management. After having an incredibly rewarding and transformative 12 week internship experience at Owens Corning with Global Sourcing, I have had the opportunity to continue growing at Owens Corning through the Sourcing Leadership Development Program, a three year rotational program which will be concluded in July, 2022. Graduates of this development program experience accelerated growth through exposure to a variety of experiences and functions. I will conduct competitive bids and engage with suppliers, synthesize market/industry research to support negotiations and category management strategy, and collaborate with stakeholders across the business to drive value during one year in sourcing. For one year, I will have an opportunity to develop people leadership skills and execute sourcing strategy at the plant level, and I will incorporate financial acumen and executive messaging into my skillset through a rotation in a financial function.
