Rachel Hoffer

At my core, I’m a contributor. I spent the first part of my career as a frontline contributor in intensive care units, and now, I’m marrying my zest for global adventures with my drive to contribute and equipping myself with a masters in international business. Through my nursing work, I have developed strong communication skills, both at a collegial level and at a patient level. In the ICU, I have encountered people from diverse backgrounds, and I’ve learned to respectfully approach family members to ask about high-stakes medical decisions. Recognizing power structures within families from different cultures requires a keen sense for nuance in communication. I’ve also learned to inquire about and adhere to (when possible) cultural and faith requests.
