Rachel Hook

I'm a mother and homeschool teacher to two amazing boys, a proud wife, and a household manager. I am also a digital media and communication specialist with over 10 years of professional experience in project management, writing, editing, social media production, web development, content management, graphic design, photography, and video editing. My professional roles have included: • online campus coordinator in the Office of of eLearning at UA Little Rock; • marketing and communication specialist in the Office of eLearning at UA Little Rock; • self-employed photographer for weddings, portraits, news, features and events; • online news editor for Arkansasonline.com — the website of Arkansas' largest newspaper, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette; • communications director for a state government agency, the Arkansas Geographic Information Office; • executive editor, reporter, photographer and page designer for my college newspaper, The Forum (UA Little Rock). A few of my favorite things include spending time with family and friends, gardening, being with nature, traveling, photography, practicing yoga and meditation, learning and growing (always!) appreciating and making art, enjoying good food, listening to podcasts and music.
