I am fascinated by the way food can fuel our bodies, and believe in a food first philosophy. As an aspiring Sports Dietitian, I hope to help athletes see a change in their performance through proper nutrition. In addition to my dietetics coursework, I have also taken exercise science classes to fuel my interest in the way the body works. My experiences at Virginia Tech and at University of Florida, have given me the tools and knowledge to help me become successful. I hope to expand my knowledge and experiences as a MS/DI Student at Appalachian State University.
