Rachel Rittenhouse

I graduated in 2010. I stared my career working in the hospital setting for 2.5 years. There, I provided care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients at numerous levels of support by evaluating, monitoring, modifying, and educating them and their families on oxygen, nebulizer, and other respiratory therapies. I'm adept with the Servo i ventilators and Focus BiPAPs. I am able to set up, manage, and troubleshoot these and other respiratory equipment. I am skilled in collecting, measurement, and interpretation of ABGs. I have participated in CPR and numerous intubations in the hospital setting. For the past 2 years I have been working in DME as a RT. During this time, I have set up, followed, and taken care of many patients with BiPAPs, CPAPs, and other advanced home PAP machines. I have also set patients up with home nebulizers and oxygen concentrators. I have learned the requirements and qualifications for most insurance companies for the above therapies that "we" offer. I did clinical sales for American HomePatient for a little less than a year before I decided to focus all my time on patient care full time. I pride myself on my compassion for people and strive to take care and help them with their needs and concerns. My customer service is excellent! I am team player and I learn very quickly. I am willing to re locate if a great, new opportunity arises. I just would like to continue to use and grow my knowledge in respiratory therapy.
