Rachel Wainer

Rachel is an expert training facilitator and instructional designer with 15 years experience in learning and development. She creates and facilitates inclusive workshop experiences that combine modern, research-driven content and learning methodologies to teach skills and ideas that are relevant to today’s global workplace. Rachel has partnered with HR professionals, business owners, and directors in the corporate, non-profit, government, and education sectors to roll out training programs that teach tipping point skills in how to supervise, communicate effectively, address conflict, build empathy, strengthen teams, and manage oneself and others. Some of her work includes: -Design and delivery of a 2.5 express skills course How to Manage Difficult Conversations teaching how to shift away from combativeness and towards curiosity, collaboration, and accountability -Design and delivery of a 2-day course on creating Psychological Safety in teams and organizations -Collaboration with NYC government agency in revamping their performance management system to improve the quality and frequency of feedback for employees -Facilitation of styles workshops for teams in all industries with an emphasis on appreciating differences -Creation and management of a Bystander Intervention program to reduce sexual violence on a University campus -Facilitation of one-on-one coaching sessions using Brief Motivational Interviewing to foster behavior change
