I'm a machine learning and discrete signal analysis specialist. I have experience in computer vision, 3D image processing, modeling and data analytics. I like to work with challenging problems and I'm not afraid of learning new tools nor exploring different areas of science. I have a solid academic background in mathematical modeling, signal processing and optimization. I'm a passionate and proactive person who likes to keep up with the advances of science and implement cutting edge methods. I'm very independent, however I feel comfortable working in multidisciplinary groups, which I find very enriching. My Phd. Thesis is focused on the application of machine learning techniques in nuclear instrumentation and medical data. I have developed image segmentation and image sintetization algorithms for 3D medical image data in raster and vector (mesh) format, using convolutional neural networks and deep generative models. Furthermore, I have created optimization methods for gamma-ray detectors using genetic algorithms and neural networks to improve PET scanner's detection efficiency.
