Ramonte Crowder, MSW, LCSW-C, SAP

Through my experiences I have had the great fortune to work in very diverse locations and organizations. Some of my areas of interest include developing and implementing in-house programs, working with military members and military families, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), as well as substance use disorders​. I achieved my Bachelor's degree in Psychology while minoring in Sociology, from Winston-Salem State University. I have also achieved my Master's in Social Work from the University Of Maryland, Baltimore School of Social Work, with a dual concentration in both Behavioral Bealth and Community Organizing, sub-specializing in Employee Assistance Programs. While attending University of Maryland, Baltimore, I have become a regular attendee of the Coalition for Military Awareness, and the Chesapeake Chapter of The Employee Assistance Program Association.I have been instrumental in creating new programs and training materials within various locations such as Andrews Air Force base, University of Maryland, Northrop Grumman, and the National Institute of Health just to name a few. Throughout my matriculation at University of Maryland, I was honored as a Muriel Gray Tuerk conference,National Problem Gambling association scholarship recipient, and Outstanding Student of the Year.My goal is to create long-lasting positive changes within families and individuals, using creativity and a variety of therapeutic techniques.
