Rana Raouf Farag, PhD, MBA

I am an innovative, creative, and driven person, passionate about STEM applicability. From an early stage, I realized the importance of digitalization to solve real world problems and the outreach of complex mathematical models (neural networks, fuzzy logics, multi-agents) to make them practical. During my BSc, MSc and PhD, I published the results of an artificial intelligence study relating social characteristics and epidemiology, and the improvement of safety/control of mechanical systems of automobile vehicles. I took this passion a step further by becoming an entrepreneur launching a SMB e-commerce platform with add-on software services focused on mobile apps and web development. I have just graduated from a full-time MBA program from an international top school, which has helped me to consolidate my learnings in bridging business with technology. I’m now the CPO of a health-tech startup working on an AI medical assistant.
