I have worked hard to maintain a balance between customer-facing responsibilities and the creative process that is software engineering. I have spent most of my career building engineering teams from scratch then directing them in the creation of new, innovative solutions. Otherwise, I have been in front of customers either in Sales or Services situations. Each facet has served to reinforce the others as I understand the complexities inherent in creating software as well as the psychology and politics behind purchasing it. I also understand the challenges customers face in implementing and integrating software from a variety of vendors. While it is not always possible to fully reconcile all aspects of software creation and sales (that would be the perfect product), it is my personal mission to get as close to perfection as is humanly possible. To me this means utilizing the best and brightest resources in ways that maximize their satisfaction and efficiency while also making our software attractive to the widest possible audience.
