Randy Kelley

Dr. Kelley is an activist pastor and a political organizer. He was born in Birmingham and graduated from Leeds High School. While serving in the United States Army he specialized in race relations, substance abuse prevention and combat infantry training. He graduated at the top of his classes in Leadership Academy and Instructor Training School as Distinguished Graduate. While training soldiers in the Republic of Korea, his classes were honored by visits from 13 Generals and the Secretary of the Army. Dr. Kelley's Accomplishments and Achievements over the years includes but are not limited to the following; Past S.C.L.C and NAACP President, Former City Councilman, State Democratic Executive Committee Executive Board, U.S. Civil Rights Committee Alabama Advisory Board, Convener of Religion and Race Team of North Alabama Conference United Methodist Church, State Vice Chairman of the Alabama Democratic Conference , the Democratic National Committee Black Caucus Chaplain and serves as the Southeast Regional Black Caucus Chairman. Dr. Kelley has been featured in a book entitled Connections: Communities, Schools and the People Who Made Them and nationally on TV ONE's "Divine Restoration". In addition, Dr. Kelley has been inducted into the Morehouse College Martin Luther King Jr. College of Ministers.
