My title states that i am a Global Platform Product Manager. What is one of those you ask? Good question..... Here goes... I am responsible for managing our primary content products from development to production and ensure we are aligned with the global strategy of our division. I work closely with product market managers, editors, support, sales, marketing and our development groups to ensure we deliver a best in class Product for our market. In the last 10 years i have worn many hats, web manager, product manager, Head of IT, Head of Client Services, all of which i can say through hard work, dedication, lean techniques and more, I have successfully contributed to revenue growth and a healthy happy environment in the workplace!! What is the key to a happy and thriving workplace? Relationships. Forming key relations with peers, clients, managers and almost anyone you meet along your journey of life and work will get you places. What is my key to becoming successful and motivated in every job/task i undertake? Talking. Sharing my knowledge with others, picking up the phone instead of typing an email, meeting peers and clients whenever and however possible face to face than through a conference call meeting. Actions speak louder than words. :)
