Ray Cooke

With a wealth of experience across industries as diverse as Resources, Construction, Retail, Professional Services, Shipping, and Healthcare, I bring high-level OH&S leadership to the table for every client and project. My client portfolio has included industry majors such as McConnell Dowell, Downer Engineering, Curtin University, Woodside, Chevron, BHP, Rio Tinto and Qantas, amongst many others. This wide exposure has meant that I have worked in environments including ships, oil rigs, mine sites, construction sites, overseas, and at remote refuelling terminals, to name a few. Expert-level training proficiency has qualified me to train workers both locally and offshore on topics including Health and Safety Representatives, Manual Handling, Hazardous Substances, JSA/JHAs, Permits to Work, and How to Run a Safety Committee. My strengths lie in the design and implementation of safety systems in line with international standards, including AS4801. I have led teams of up to 6 staff, and lectured at Curtin University. My international experience includes working in the Philippines, Vietnam, and New Zealand.
