I like new challenges on a daily basis. I can adapt and respond to changes with confidence. By observing and shadowing a senior colleague, I require minimal training and supervision. I remain resourceful under stress and I ask the right questions when I am stuck. Limitations of my abilities do not define who I am. My strong desire to learn and acquire new knowledge motivates me to reach my goals. As a CAD structural steel draftsperson, I learned to pay attention to small detail and multitask while under pressure. After two years of drafting experience, I decided to explore my knowledge and skill-sets in the construction field. I pursued the Architectural Building Technology program at BCIT. Architectural Building Technology program prepared me well with integration of skill-sets in project management, building science & architectural/structural building design. I learned to read and interpret architectural drawing sets, CCDC documents, BC Building Code & City By-laws. In addition, I have a great understanding of a project's lifespan, from the design & tender phase to the execution and termination of a project.
