Rebecca Berumen

I am a graduate from the University of North Texas, UNT, with a Bachelor of Integrative Studies. Over the course of my life I have had two different jobs, Kroger cashier/ bagger and Chick-Fil-A team member. These two positions have shown me that I have a love for human interaction. When I worked at Kroger I wanted to make each customer feel as welcome as possible. I would greet them genuinely, and make the last few moments of their shopping experience as enjoyable as possible. Kroger gave me a taste of customer service. Chick-Fil-A has a reputation for great customer service. Customer service is an aspect of my job that I take very seriously. If I don't have a customer walk away with a smile or a better attitude I failed them and my store. Chick-Fil-A treats their employees with utmost respect. I have never been in an environment where my opinions mattered and I had a voice. I have a deep loyalty for my Chick-Fil-A franchise and loyalty is important to have when choosing to work for a company. I would like to work in human resources because I want employees to feel like they are being heard. If employees are satisfied, the customers will reap the benefits.
