PASSIONATE NURSING STUDENT | HARD WORKING HOSPICE AIDE Nursing is often called a "family career". I am a believer in that, for my mother is an Emergency Room nurse and my great grandmother was a World War II nurse. I am following in their footsteps, working towards earning my Associates of Arts Degree in Nursing, with an ultimate goal of a Master's Degree in Nursing. I am gaining experience through my job as a Hospice Aide. I have the privilege of caring for patient's during their most vulnerable times--end of life. I work alongside Registered Nurses in providing patient's with palliative care, with the goal of preserving each person's dignity up until death. I have acquired a passion for patient advocacy, treating each patient as I would want my own loved ones to be treated and cared for. Each day is a new experience and I apply my work to my studies in order to get the most out of my education.
