Regina Nunes has more 35 years experience in Domestic and International Financial and Capital Market. For 20 years worked as leader at S&P Global Ratings. Currently, is: CEO and Founding Partner at RNA Capital; Independent Board Member and Member of the Audit and Risk Committee for Iberdrola (Spain); Independent Board Member and Leads Risk and Solvency Committee for IRB BrasiRe (Brazil); Member of Committee of Risk and Capital at Banco do Brasil (Brazil). Before that Regina was: Independent Board Member and Member of Financial and Remuneration Committees at Neoenergia; Independent Board Member and Member of Auditing Committee of CEG/Naturgy Rio de Janeiro; Member of Consulting Board for Mercado Eletronico (Brazil); Independent Board Member at AMCHAM (Brazil); Board Member of BRC Ratings (Colombia). Before founding RNA Capital and became Independent Board Member in 2019, Regina worked for S&P Global Ratings for 20 years as Managing Director, Head of Brazil and accumulated positions as Head o Argentina, Head o Southern Latin America, Co-Head of Latin America and was part of the Global Strategy for Developing Countries. Has conceptualized and implemented strategies to drive business expansion, downsizing, acquisitions, sales, Greenfield operations and new products development. She is an innovative and change agent of business operations. In first 13 years of her career she has worked at financial institutions, such as Chase Manhattan and Citibank, Commercial Bank of New York (NY) in the areas of credit and risk analysis, corporate, trade, structured and project finance and capital markets. As part of her international experience at Chase Manhattan, had an extensive training in NY with focus on risk and business and was part of the credit audit team with an assignment at the Puerto Rico Branch. At the Commercial Bank of New York, she led the Correspondent Banking and Risk areas focused on Latin America. Prior to that, for 3 years, Regina was an independent consultant in Brazil, having worked on privatization programs, investments for international funds in the Brazilian market, mergers and acquisitions and financial engineering projects. Graduated in Business Administration from Mackenzie University and attended leadership, finance and management courses at New York University, Columbia University and Insead.
