Backing up a bit, my life as a Realtor in Sarasota, Florida became anything but the norm in 2013 after I was cast as a contestant on ABC’s The Bachelor Season 18 followed by a short stint on Anthony Bourdain’s television show, The Taste. That once in a lifetime opportunity granted me a worldwide, faithful audience on television resulting in an impressive social media following. I had the most positive experience with the most powerful outcome, and it was life changing to connect with viewers or “fans” with a similar story in real time. People who were rooting for my love story.
