Renaldo Burrows

I am presently assigned to the Cable Beach Division, New Providence where I serve as the Divisional Inspector. My duties include but are not limited to the daily management of activities within the division inclusive of administrative and operational duties. My most recent posting prior to this was at the Drug Enforcement Unit. During my tenure at the Drug Enforcement Unit I served as the Divisional Inspector, Exhibit Officer, Field Intelligence Manager and Operations Manager as well as drug files investigation and financial investigations management. My duties include overseeing and directing intelligence gathering, drug case investigations and financial investigations. These investigations have allowed me to have daily interactions with and to build a rapport with international law enforcement partners (in particular those from the United States), senior management officials within government departments as well as private corporations. The foundations of these relationships and investigative and management skills were built upon my assignments in the Field Intelligence, General Investigations, Airport Operations, Operations and Strike Force Sections. Additionally my professional development training and work related experience provides an excellent foundation. I have successfully completed Human Resources Management Stage 1 at the University of the Bahamas. Likewise, I have completed the Initial Detective, Defensive Driving, Firearm and Basic and Intermediate Narcotics Investigation (D.E.A.), Financial Investigations (REDTRAC) and Clandestine Drug Laboratory Courses (RCMP/OAS). I have studied Architectural Arts and Sciences at the University of the Bahamas.
