Today I hold the role Technical Manager for ECU Version Management. Main responsibilities include process owner for the ECU Version Management, Head of the change control board for all Software and ECU changes in the business. I am also the tool owner for System42 and considered the tool expert within the business. I am also responsible for all Software releases, configuring and generating VBV releases for projects within Version42. Career History Started my career at Bentley Motors as an Auto Electrical Apprentice progressing to an Auto Electrical Technician working within Whole Vehicle Engineering, predominantly completing prototype builds, manufacturing wiring harnesses, vehicle fault diagnostics and rectification. I then took the role as Test and Build Support Engineer - Integration within Electrical Engineering. Acting as the link between Electrical Engineering and other functions within the business including both the Production and Prototype Build Teams. The role predominately entailed identifying, documenting and resolving build and integration issues. I was also responsible for planning and managing integration tests to ensure they are performed and completed prior to new integration levels are released to the production line.
