I have finished my Masters in Town and Regional Planning (RTPI accredited) at Leeds Beckett University, UK. I undertook my Bachelors degree as Civil Engineering. These courses have helped me gain the practical and theoretical knowledge needed for my career in Civil Engineering. In civil engineering course, I studied many modules including the following: structural engineering, water and waste water engineering and transportation engineering, Quantity Surveying. These modules and the many others helped me gain many invaluable skills that will be vital in developing my career. During my time at university and my civil engineering work experience I gained many skills vital for undertaking a civil engineering job in the UK. I have gained teamwork skills having undertaken group projects and presentations during my time at university and by managing and training new members of staff during my work experience. During my work experience, I have gained invaluable skills in dealing with members of the public which are essential for any jobs. I have excellent I.T skills that I have gained from university such as the use of AutoCAD, and Microsoft office in which I used to present my findings during reports and presentations at university. My report writing skills have improved during my time at university, and this has also helped me work to the tight deadlines which will be prevalent in my career.
