Riadh Zine

Mr. Zine is the Executive Chairman of Roadmap Capital Inc. Previously, Mr. Zine was a Managing Director in Global Investment Banking at RBC Capital Markets, where he was responsible for providing strategic and financial advice to many of Canada’s largest corporations, entrepreneurs and private equity firms. Mr. Zine has over 15 years of experience executing public or private equity and debt financings, as well as mergers &a; acquisitions for a wide range of Canadian companies in the consumer, retail, healthcare, transportation and industrials sectors. Notable transactions include the $7.5 billion acquisition of Viterra by Glencore, a $500 million Canadian Pacific equity offering, $750 million Teranet IPO, $900 million Tim Hortons IPO, $5.6 billion sale of Dofasco to Arcelor, and $300 million private debt offering by MDS Heathcare. Prior to joining RBC Capital Markets, Mr. Zine worked at Royal Bank of Canada on a number of strategic projects, including the proposed merger between Royal Bank of Canada and Bank of Montreal. Mr. Zine holds a M.Sc. in Financial Engineering from École des Hautes Études Commerciales, University of Montréal.
