*Educator, coach, counselor and community leader who enjoys working with community partners (schools, sports organizations, cultural/heritage programs) and students to help them find their path through engagement and meaningful, active citizenship. Current Foci/Specializations (2019--: Educational Technology strategic planning and consulting in K12 Education, Esports for K12, and Professional Development for public and private organizations, community-building, accessible/inclusive/flow-based learning management and ludic pedagogical approaches in K-12; Career Pathways in IR4/Web 3.0 and 21st century considerations for DEEP LEARNING. In collaboration with educators, community leaders and provincial stakeholders, I am excited to announce that our "Azimuth Consulting and Educational Services" project has taken off (December, 2012). Looking forward to big things to come through hard-work, collaboration, an open-mind, and positive thinking...all geared towards preparing learners for success! Completed my Masters of Education at Concordia University with Top of Class Honours, where much of my work has been addressing the issues concerning character education in our schools, working with students at-risk, identified with ABI; and focusing my research on building meaningful learning activities to students through virtual learning, while looking for ways for the student "take away" to support an appreciation for community, heritage and the diversity that exists in their very neighbours. The ultimate goal is looking for ways to continue to build strong partnerships between communities, schools and pillars/institutes in a positive way so that young citizens develop an appreciation for their community in a sustainable manner (where will all our students go? Will they return?). I am very excited to be working on such a relevant topic and it has given me the opportunity to work with and learn from supportive and challenging team members along the way.
