Richard Armstrong

Financial Reporting Accountant of Reassured Limited, the UK’s biggest life insurance broker specialising in finding people life insurance cover. My role covers a broad range of areas such as external reporting, tax, technical accounting, as well as preparation and presentation of key financial matters to the board impacting the Group. I spent the first 6 years of my career at EY, working in both the UK and US. During that time, I worked with a number of multi-national listed businesses, PE backed groups and fast growth private middle market companies across a range of industry sectors including Construction, Technology, Specialised Manufacturing and Retail. Whilst my primary role at EY was audit and assurance, I was heavily involved in generating and winning new work, building relationships in the market place and in the running and leadership of the South coast office. I have experience leading large complex projects and have successfully helped businesses through challenging projects such as, control improvement and GAAP / IFRS conversions.
