Richard Drolet

Appointed General Manager of Kruger Biomaterials in 2013, Richard Drolet has managed operations and development of new applications for Cellulose Filaments until 2016. He served as a senior Advisor to Kruger Biomaterials until March 2018. Having graduated from Laval University with a B.A.Sc. in Chem. Eng. in 1974, he earned extensive experience in the pulp and paper industry, providing technical and production expertise working directly for P&P producers for 16 years. Over the following 9 years, he was a senior consultant for a P&P consulting firm, responsible for marketing and technology for the Eastern Canada and Northeastern US markets. As an independent consultant, he expanded his expertise, conducting feasibility and competitive analysis studies, business plans and due diligence reviews on behalf of companies, banks, government and various organizations prior to acquisitions and project financing in the P&P and forest industries.
