Sure, excellent technical skills are a given, but without those core values the team simply doesn’t perform at the level it could. The quality of the output is directly proportional to the feeling of unity within the team and pride, passion and comradery become the fuel that powers and delivers the final product.I have been in highly technical roles from microprocessor assembly coding, enterprise software development, storage and network architecture, information security, database design, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence since 1990 and the biggest learning across all of those disciplines is that technology is all about people. Technology trends come and go like VHS and Betamax, but people and the values they hold true, survive and are able to adapt to an ever-changing landscape.I am passionate about building software engineering teams that are motivated, engaged and are empowered to bring their creative ideas to life.
